Unveiling Insights from the DOMINOES Multiplier Event

Stakeholders convened at Campus Madrid-Argüelles on January 17th, 2024, for an insightful event organized within the DOMINOES Project. The agenda for the event can be consulted here.

Attendees were greeted with an introduction to the Dominoes Project, emphasizing its mission to combat disinformation. Learn more about the project here and its impact here.

Towards the end of the event, the participants engaged in an interactive discussion on the battle between information and disinformation. Watch the exercise instructions here. Attendees actively participated in a game designed to deepen their understanding of misinformation. Illusionist David de la Runa added intrigue with captivating magic performances, highlighting the fine line between knowledge and belief. Additionally, a virtual reality game demonstrated the identification of Deepfakes.

The event concluded with insightful reflections on the day’s discussions and activities while the participants had the opportunity to network and unwind over refreshments, fostering further discussions on combating disinformation. DOMINOES Project event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and engagement, equipping attendees with valuable insights and tools to tackle the pervasive issue of disinformation in today’s digital landscape.
